Deciding on a major? Read on

http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=96384572876&ref=mf

Choosing a Major Helps Determine Possible Career Paths

Narrowing down a major from the dozens of available options is overwhelming for students who either find joy in a wide range of subjects, or have not yet found any of the choices appealing. It's best to begin exploring your options, even if you aren't sure yet which university you'll attend or what classes you're taking your first semester. Jumping into a major without researching it will only temporarily relieve the pressure you're feeling from your university, parents or peers to make a decision. Doing so might mean more pressure later on in your college career, when you have to shift into reverse and reevaluate which major will truly make you happy. Get the researching and soul-searching out of the way before nailing down a subject.

Five signs that green is the next bubble

http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/10/07/five-signs-that-green-is-the-next-bubble/

We're tired of bubbles, right? Anyone 30 or older has lived through two big ones so far, with a brief period of prosperity separating the decimation of dot-com largesse and mortgage-fueled paper wealth. It could take until 2014 for the jobs lost to be replenished, and there's little reason for optimism.

An Online Marketing Primer for Higher Education

http://www.clickz.com/3625913

In an age when higher education students are among our most wired online populace, the people who make the marketing decisions for those institutions are still in need of the most elemental education. At traditional higher education institutions, it's tough to pitch online media strategy when they're barely acquainted with the fundamentals of online marketing.

Surveying Higher Education About Online Marketing

http://www.clickz.com/3626716
